An introduction to the core theories of international relations, including realism, liberalism, and constructivism. Students apply these theories to the fundamental problems of international relations, including security (war, deterrence, nuclear proliferation, terrorism), political economy (globalization, trade, development), and cooperation (international law and institutions).
