Description

The activities, lectures, and trips, and discussions in this course are designed to help you understand sedimentary landforms and deposits and the mechanisms that generate them. By the end of this course, you will be able to:

1) Make informed observations about landforms, sediments, and sedimentary rocks.
2) Discuss and evaluate hypotheses concerning the origin of landforms, sediments, and sedimentary rocks
3) Use digital and analog tools to measure the rates, extents, durations, magnitudes, and attributes of surface processes and sedimentary sequences.
4) Approach and dissect scientific manuscripts in order both assimilate information and evaluate methods
